Abstract

The curated bibliography that grounds the Confronting Unknowns series. Forty-two sources across seven themes, from systems safety engineering and Bayesian evidence assessment to historical UAP record and the sociology of stigma. Originally assembled for the CU26 workshop at MIT (January 2026); maintained as a live document. Each entry names the author, the work, the access status, and a one-line argument for why it belongs.
